TEMPLE FITNESS

STRENGTH IS MORE THAN WHAT THE BODY CAN CARRY.

Temple Fitness is RAP Trust's health and wellbeing intervention, using physical development, biomechanics, lifestyle education and nutrition awareness as vehicles for wider personal development and wellbeing.

The programme recognises the relationship between physical and emotional wellbeing and creates opportunities for participants to develop greater awareness of their bodies, habits, choices and overall health.

Temple Fitness is not simply about exercise. It uses physical activity and health education as practical routes into discipline, self-awareness, regulation and healthier lifestyle choices.

WHOLE-PERSON WELLBEING

THE BODY IS ONE PART OF THE STORY.

Temple Fitness takes a whole-person approach to health and wellbeing.

The documented programme model connects physical development with wider areas of wellbeing.

Physical activity becomes a practical engagement tool through which wider conversations about health, behaviour, discipline and personal development can take place.

NOT ALL THE WEIGHT WE CARRY IS PHYSICAL.

The programme connects physical development with:

  • Physical health
  • Mental and emotional wellbeing
  • Resilience
  • Relationships
  • Nutrition
  • Lifestyle
  • Inner wellbeing and reflection

MOVEMENT WITH PURPOSE

UNDERSTAND THE BODY. DEVELOP THE BODY.

The documented Temple Fitness methodology incorporates a biomechanics-based approach to physical development.

Rather than depending on conventional gym machinery or weight-training equipment, the documented model uses bodyweight-based physical activity and natural movement.

This creates an accessible approach that can be adapted to different delivery environments.

BODYWEIGHT

Physical activity built around using the participant's own body rather than dependence on artificial mechanical equipment.

MOVEMENT

Developing awareness of how the body moves and responds during physical activity.

FUNCTION

Using structured physical activity to support broader fitness, wellbeing and healthy-lifestyle development.

Temple Fitness does not provide clinical biomechanics assessment, physiotherapy or sports medicine.

MORE THAN PHYSICAL FITNESS
