I Am Angry All the Time
What is happening?
Feeling angry all the time is exhausting. It can feel like you are always one thing away from exploding, like everything is a threat, like nobody understands what you are carrying.
What may be underneath it?
Anger is usually protecting something. It might be protecting you from feeling frightened, or ashamed, or powerless. It might be the only way you have learned to respond to situations that feel out of control. That does not make it wrong — but it does mean there is usually something underneath it worth understanding.
What makes things worse?
Acting on the anger in the moment, without thinking about what it is actually about. Letting it build until it explodes. Believing that the anger is just who you are and that nothing can change.
What can help?
Start by noticing it. What triggers it? What does it feel like before it peaks? What happens after? Understanding the pattern is the first step to having more control over it. Talking to someone you trust — not to be fixed, just to be heard — can make a difference.
Decision Corridor
Between the trigger and the explosion, there is a space. It might feel like there is not — but it is there. Learning to find it and use it is one of the most powerful things a person can do.
